2025 at Cyber Rangers: processes, responsibility, and growth

The year 2025 was a year of intense change for us at Cyber Rangers. In a world where cybersecurity increasingly intersects with regulation, technological development, and responsibility, we focused primarily on setting an example for our customers. We are well aware that cybersecurity and a responsible and systematic approach are never-ending processes. That is why we strive for long-term sustainability and the highest possible quality of our services. It is the quality of the services we provide that demonstrates our professionalism and responsible approach.

In order to achieve everything we set out to do, we first had to change our view of Cyber Rangers as a leader in offensive cybersecurity. This involved, in particular, transforming our approach, setting up new procedures, rebuilding our knowledge bases, modifying our controlled documentation, and much more. And because most of our customers are subject to higher obligations under the new cybersecurity law, we decided to go through the process as well, regardless of whether or not we are officially a mandatory entity under the law.

This has enabled us to change the way the company thinks and ensure the effective, responsible, and ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in our internal processes and the services we provide. The use of artificial intelligence allows us to focus on what we do best, namely offensive testing (penetration testing, simulation of real attacks, DDoS attacks, etc.), security checks, and educational activities (lectures, table-top exercises, etc.). In the field of artificial intelligence, our biggest challenge was to unify the perception of AI tools across the company and clearly define what information belongs in AI tools and what does not. To do this, we also had to set up a whole range of control mechanisms and reports, because processes that exist without control are usually not followed. However, we realize that artificial intelligence produces an incredible amount of content in the digital space, which is why we still maintain humanity and a sincere approach to the content we create.

In addition, we had to standardize competencies within our teams and allocate the right resources to the right places. This entailed many transformational changes, but it will enable us to grow better and maintain the aforementioned quality in the future. One of the major challenges was to set up a high-quality process for checking the results and outputs we produce. Thanks to clear goals and our teams, we were able to implement truly high-quality tools. These tools will help us manage the quality of outputs across the company. Thanks to the standardization of tools and a whole range of automations, we have been able to reduce the administrative burden, and now we can better focus on the activities in the projects for which our customers pay us.

In 2025, thanks to our delivery team, we also ventured into a new area, namely the development of our own hardware. This hardware will be launched on the market very soon, and its highest added value will become apparent when an organization suffers a cyberattack. Our new hardware will become part of our product family and will shape the new future of Cyber Rangers together with us. We have added technical supply chain checks to our other products because we believe that the supply chain is one of the biggest and most underestimated threats to organizations of all types and sizes (from our point of view, definitely bigger than phishing). This area is often very complex and intricate, but thanks to our new Cyber Intelligence Report service, we are now able to perform very fast, legal, and thorough security perimeter checks on any organization our customers choose (existing supplier, prospective supplier, subsidiary or sister company, or organization being considered for acquisition).

Cyber Rangers have been very active not only in the area of internal changes and service delivery to our customers, but we have also carried out many activities in the area of general awareness raising about cyber security. Our main goal was to enrich you with our opinions and insights from cyberspace and to change your perspective on cyberspace and improve your critical thinking. In 2025, we carried out more than 70 events together, some of which were public and others behind closed doors. According to the evaluations we received from the organizers, our lectures ranked among the best. At the same time, we received very valuable feedback from you regarding the absence of our podcasts on our YouTube and Spotify channels. We are aware of this shortcoming and will try to do something about it in the near future. In the future, we would like to continue delivering our online content, opinions, and insights on cybersecurity to you.

In 2025, we were able to move our CYB3R DAYS conference to larger premises (mainly thanks to you), and we were extremely pleased with your feedback. The CYB3R DAYS conference has thus become one of the best-rated (commercial) events in the Czech Republic. Our goal at Cyber Rangers is to continue to prepare conferences and content that deserve your attention and your time. For all of this, we owe a big thank you to you, our guests and our partners. However, a big thank you also goes to our team of organizers, who work continuously throughout the year to prepare the event. Building a community around Cyber Rangers has always been and will always be our mission, because we believe that only united communities can achieve great things, help each other, and enrich each other with new knowledge and experiences.

We would like to thank all our clients, partners, and colleagues for their trust and cooperation. We greatly appreciate being a long-term partner to organizations that take cybersecurity seriously. As Cyber Rangers, we promise that we will not slow down and will continue at the same pace in 2026. We will continue to strive to adapt to your needs and internally change the way we operate so that we can ensure at least the same quality of services we provide as we grow.
